Key priorities include:

  • Designing and implement targeted influencing approaches to shape national and local policy.
  • Acting as a recognised lead on relevant policy area and wider issues impacting members.
  • Developing clear, insightful briefings, reports and recommendations tailored to different audiences.
  • Planning and convening forums.
  • Managing effective relationships with members, system leaders, policymakers and partners.
  • Contributing to the planning, coordination and delivery of central and network activity.
  • Supporting the NHS Alliance’s financial sustainability through ongoing member recruitment and renewal and maintaining relationships with funding partners.
  • Providing effective line management as required with funding partners.

About you

You will have:

  • A strong understanding of wider health sector and or relevant public and social policy.
  • Experience in managing policy research, analysis or influencing projects with internal and external partners.
  • Strong programme and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for a variety of audiences, including producing briefings, thought leadership and consultation responses, and presenting at events or webinars.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve policy and influencing objectives.
