This is an exciting time to join our team as we initiate new programmes of work, supporting our members in improvement programmes tackling inequality. Bringing our skills and expertise as we embed lasting change for the workforce as well as patients and users of the NHS.

About the role

As a Programme Manager you will: 

  • Support the delivery of a range of programmes and projects across our work plan.
  • Work closely with members, NHS leaders, external partners and colleagues across the NHS Confederation.
  • Ensure project plans have clear outcomes and deliverables. Monitor and keep plans to agreed timescales and budget.
  • Help shape new proposals being developed as member offers in the tackling inequality space.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of the work programmes.
  • Prepare and present written materials such as reports, briefings, and other information relevant to the Programmes being delivered, and for the Health and Care Womens' Network’s aims and objectives.
  • Support the development and delivery of programmes across the Health and Care Women Leaders network, this will include assisting the Chair and the Guiding Group to turn strategic objectives into practical actions and delivery plans.

About you

You will be motivated by addressing inequality in the NHS and the services it delivers and be able to manage complex relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders in an inclusive and engaging style.

You will also have the following skills and experience:

  • demonstrable programme management skills.
  • demonstrable analysis, writing and verbal skills, with an ability to communicate complex ideas to different audiences.
  • ability to problem solve working collaboratively with partners.
