About the role

The NHS Employers Reward Team is looking for a Senior Programme Support Officer to support the delivery of their reward programme of work. This is a varied and busy programme which has a focus on how reward and recognition can support workforce challenges such as attraction, motivation and retention within the NHS.

As a Senior Programme Support Officer, you will:

  • Manage allocated workstreams that support and enable delivery of the programme
  • Research and source good practice which can be used to produce resources which can be shared with NHS trusts and external organisations
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings for internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain and develop web-based materials and communications.

About you

We would love to hear from you are interested in working at a national level to support employers in the NHS with reward and recognition.

You will have: 

  • Some understanding of the NHS workforce and the wider issues currently affecting the NHS
  • Experience of leading or facilitating events or meetings and engaging the audience
  • Excellent organisation skills with an ability to work to tight deadlines and manage conflicting priorities
  • Experience of using initiative and working with minimum supervision/independently
  • An ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Good written skills, with experience of minute taking and producing web content.
