About the role

As a Policy and Data Analyst you will assist with analysing data and identifying key trends. You will present findings to internal and external audiences and develop relationships with key external stakeholders.

You will also:

  • Use knowledge of key NHS datasets to provide rapid analysis of emerging data to support media responses, developing compelling narratives and monitoring trends.
  • Work with experts in the policy team to triangulate qualitative feedback with quantitative data, supporting reports and other outputs with evidence.
  • Work on long term ‘deep dive’ projects including exploring issues facing the NHS and developing external-facing products.

About you

You are passionate about exploring the big questions the NHS and health sector are asking and have a willingness to learn and gain experience with using data to identify patterns and trends to generate insights.

As well as being a great communicator you will also:

  • Be able to grasp complex issues quickly and to interpret and present your findings rapidly, for a variety of audiences, using data visualisation techniques.  
  • Have a willingness to develop your personal networks and are able to manage competing priorities.
