This is a fixed term/secondment opportunity – Until 31st March 2025  (may be extended) working 29.2 hours per week.

About the role

We are recruiting a Programme Manager who will lead the delivery of our work programme relating to the NHS job evaluation scheme.

As a Programme Manager you will: 

  • Support national meetings and negotiations with stakeholders
  • Oversee the provision of NHS job evaluation training courses for NHS organisations including coordination of a pool of freelance trainers.
  • Undertake employer and stakeholder engagement to support the delivery of the work programmes
  • Provide guidance and advice to employers and national stakeholders on relevant issues and contribute to the development of resources to support employers:

About you

We would love to hear from you if you are interested in getting experience of working at a national level on a fundamental part of the NHS pay structure.  You’ll gain experience of partnership working with NHS employers and trade unions and valuable insight into how employment policies and practices are developed.

You will have experience of managing programmes of work and delivering results on time.

You will also have:

  • Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills including a proven ability to process, critique and assimilate information into written documents
  • An ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
