Our Strategic Policy Team are recruiting and Senior Policy and Project Officer

About the role

As a Senior Policy and Project Officer you will:

  • Support translating NHS policy, leadership and improvement priorities into funded projects
  • Develop high quality deliverables on specific challenges in healthcare that matter to NHS Confederation members
  • Build relationships with commercial partners, supporting the project management of funded projects and deliverables

The Strategy Policy Team deliver the organisation’s policy and influencing activities, including producing briefings and thought leadership to highlight and advocate for change in key national policy issues facing members. 

This role will specifically support the development and delivery of this growing portfolio of funded partnership projects, in close collaboration with the Commercial Team.

About you

You will be passionate about UK healthcare policy and supporting the NHS. You are a great communicator and can build effective networks.

You will also:

  • Have experience in project management, relationship building and influencing stakeholders & commercial partners
  • Be able to develop high quality deliverables and write accessible policy narratives, including for commercial partners
  • Have experience of supporting and delivering high quality projects and programmes of work to set timelines
