This is a Temporary, Part Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

This is a part time role (0.3FTE, 10.95 hours per week) fixed term until 31st March 2025.

About the role

This is an exciting time to join our team as Programme Manager for the NHS Confederation’s high profile and influential Health and Care Women Leaders’ Network.

As the Programme Manager you will: 

  • Support the development and delivery of a range of programmes and projects across the Network’s portfolio.
  • Ensure project plans have clear outcomes and deliverables. Monitor and keep plans to agreed timescales and budget.
  • Assist the Chair and the Guiding Group to turn strategic objectives into practical actions and delivery plans.
  • Prepare and present written materials such as reports, briefings, and other information relevant to the Network’s aims and objectives.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of the work programme.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the wider Partnerships and Equality work plan as appropriate.

About you

You will be motivated by addressing inequality in the NHS and the services it delivers and be able to manage complex relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders in an inclusive and engaging style.

You will also have the following skills and experience:

  • demonstrable programme management skills.
  • experience of translating Policy into practical deliverables within the NHS.
  • demonstrable analysis, writing and verbal skills, with an ability to communicate complex ideas to different audiences
